hkcg, when you said you were next to last in line for the 4 apartments, does it mean you were the 3rd out of the 20 people (assuming that the management sent 20 invitations out) to view the apartments or you are the 19th of the 20 people?
I think the number was 15th or 18th in line, so they went through quite a few people before calling me. I saved the paperwork that I accumulated during this whole process, and if I can find the original letter, I'll get you a definite number. I was completely surprised when PS called me because of my position in line.
It really makes you wonder, what happens to all these people? They're ahead of you, until suddenly they're not. (I'm not complaining, mind you!) I'm thinking some of them can't come up with the money or an appropriate mortgage, but still.

Probably so. But Pennsouth is good. At least it gives you option to apply for mortgage loan. East Midtown Plaza wouldn't let you get loan and require you to give them money within 2 weeks. So their numbers move super quick.

Thank you hkcg.
I have good news for people who are waiting for 1 bedroom. I am from the 2019 lottery. My current number is mid 80s and I was sent a letter inviting me to view the 7 vacant apartments.
"If you do not view the apartment(s) within one week from the mailing of this letter (Postmark Date), we will assume you are not interested in the apartment(s), and it will be considered as a rejection of all of the above apartment(s)."
So 2019 batch, you can start studying the 1 bedroom floor plan and get ready for the excitement.
Great news!! Is it too much trouble to ask... but could you take pics of the spaces? Pretty please? Don't post the one you end up taking, of course. Just the others. We're all very curious!
I didn't take any pictures. I took videos. Most 1-bedroom apartment I saw are located on G-line and E-line. E is a little bigger than G. I wouldn't know which apartment I will get because my choice number for the apartment is the lowest. I will get the leftover.
If you could post the videos we would really love to see. It's one thing to see anonymous floor plans and another to see a walkthrough! It would be Christmas in July for us.
