I think since they are going in order of log numbers now (phase 1), if there is any bedrooms by the time they reach your log for phase 1 I'm sure they will contact you.
For phase #2 i'm in the 25,XXX. I wont even hold my breath for it.
However, i was reached out with a denial letter for Phase 1 Log 29XX no preference and I appealed. Waiting for the status but once January comes, I'll start causing mayhem because i have a feeling they are just ignoring the appeals if it doesn't suit their qualifications.
Im going for a studio + 1 bedroom either or.
Im wishing you much success, please keep us posted about your journey esp if you they show you 2,3 possible apts!
They skipped me for phase 1 (I'm CB 7 preference) ,my log # is little over 10*** and they had contacted way much higher log#s for CB7 then on general population.
They will not come back to me .
For phase 2 I'm CB7 preference log# 5*** , but I read they went on to log#s 12*** or higher for CB7 but not into general population yet .
So basically they skipped me for both but for phase 1 will never hear from them .
They are suppose to go in order of log#s and CB7 preference first ...(if not then u know what that means and what you can do about it ) .

Are you CB7 preference or any preferences?

You appealing due to new job correct ?
What date did you sent your appeal ? and sent To WaterLinesquare@breakingground?
If they are ignoring you ...you can send your appeal to HPD.

My rejection letter was because I didn’t meet the income requirements. However I did appeal and said I recently was just hired but the job paid me in cash and I sent them a screen shot of the money deposit in my account. Ever since then I left the job and became employed with two other jobs in which qualifies me for income and I still haven’t been reached out. This is my timeline.
First contact ineligible letter: 9/1
sent appealed: 9/8
Asked to submit more documents to further review: 9/17
Sent docs 9/20
Emailed for answers 10/05
Emailed again for a response 10/12
Again 10/13
They responded 10/13 that they are backlogged with appeals.
I haven’t contact them since.
I’m about to send them another email with the paystubs of the jobs I have now but one of them I recently started and it’s seasonal so I’m not sure if they are keeping me.
That’s what’s going on with me. Any advice?
