The management company said they have other applicants they are processing now with lower log numbers, so we may not hear any news for 4-6 weeks. My husband and I LOVE the location. so we really hope we can move forward with this apartment (especially after signing millions of pages of documents!)

Thank you! Yes I hear you. I had completed the documents too and was alarmed on the housing connect website instead of "Action Needed" or "Under review" it said the timeframe for me to submit my documents had passed - even though I had submitted them before the deadline via email!
On the apps it said "1350" so I thought that may be the apartment number? I hadn't seen a unit though. Which is strange because for 329 Broadway I picked the unit first and then completed all the 40 page documents.
It worked out that I ended up withdrawing and signing 329 Broadway a few days later
I would just always make sure to get something in writing from the agent confirming all documents have been received and the email timestamp is inline with the deadline.
I'm sure you and your partner will get this place!!!!!
