You can ask about it. Seems the likely explanation is a household with a lower log# chose or only qualified for the lower AMI bracket unit before you got your unit.

If you fall into both unfortunately they can choose you for either or they are not obligated to choose a lower ami nor can anyone force them to lower it bcuz you ask for a lower rent

I know you're in a higher ami but would you mind sharing the floorplan for the 3 bed? curious as to rough bedroom sizes. is it a 1bath or 1 1/2 bath? I know sometimes its two sometimes it still one in a 3

No idea how to attach files through my iPhone. It’s a 3 bedroom with 2 full bathrooms.
Today is viewing day and I’ve been really giving this whole thing a second thought, considering that my rent will double.
I’m just not sure.
I would go view and maybe ask about the ami that they put you in. it doesnt hurt to ask! good luck!!
