Thanks for sending over the document! Really useful. We applied together, no preferences though.
Seems like this lottery does not use preferences. So, you two seem certain to be called. You need to find a away to fit into the AMI% they are using. I see only one. If need be get a second job to qualify to sign a lease.
Look up the 116st St Block Association. They are a Housing Ambassador group.
This is a mixed market-rate and affordable building. Honestly doesn't look too bad--I've been by a few times and wondered about the building. As for the neighborhood, you are RIGHT by the Costco/real Target. All that foot traffic is good for the neighborhood (plus I assume it offers better-than-average retail jobs for people who live nearby), and there has actually been some condo construction nearby in the past decade. M15 runs select downtown on 2nd Ave a couple blocks south if you don't want to do the 6. The M116 will run you crosstown to connect with the West Side lines.
Hi! New to this forum. Just joined NYC Housing Connect, and got Log#2 on this one! Number 2!!!
Unfortunately, right now i'm making less than the minimum... anybody know if they will still contact me/how quickly ? ( My girlfriend is looking for a new job, and might put us over the edge for the household :0 )
Hi #2,
Viewings will begin the week of March 3rd and I still don't see your information on my status report.
Please upload your documents to us ASAP!
Log 11xx. I would love to see the loft studios. I need to keep my rent bill less than 2k so the loft studio might be a good fit for me and my son. Hopefully the living room is large enough to have a separate bed area + a sofa. Currently I live in a alcove studio in Rego Park but because the apartment is very large I was able to carve a bedroom for my son and for myself.
Have you uploaded your docs yet?
