Wow that’s insane what number did you call cause I feel they are mostly giving these units to those in shelters especially since mayor adams brought all those people from Texas so now shelters are over packed and they need space

I didn’t apply to this one, but the one I’m currently in process for is also being managed by MHANY management and all I have to say is they are a MESS. They have very poor organizational skills and if you aren’t on top of them they will take their sweet time. They never have answers and when you speak to the higher ups their thing is “sorry that should have been explained/requested/etc”. They are also managing 5 other properties so no property is actually getting the attention they deserve.

I received the initial request for documents in JUNE, we are in december damn near JANUARY if anything. Its been crazy. Just praying for the best. I understand certain things like this take time but if you’re actually sending them what they ask & especially right away they should be prioritize a little better.

To be honest, keep on top of them. Keep calling and sending emails. That’s what I did. I was asked for Docs in September, my file was sent Tuesday for HPD Approval (not this development.). ALWAYS get a name of who you spoke to, when you call the management company they don’t like saying their names.
i just got called to submit documents a couple days ago and im here like i feel only the housing connect buildings where the AMI is 60% and up actually have good management. I already submitted documents and now to see how long it takes to hear back i cant believe it took a full year and some weeks to even hear anything back. i honestly hope i get it that my daughters middle school options are literally right there and it would be nice knowing she can just go next door to school and come back home with out crossing a big street
Hello everyone, my log number is low 1xx, no cb preference, Feb 19th I received a email from housing connect to upload documents. I did on the 20th and on the 21st the sent me a email from the management company asking for additional documents which was due on the 24th, I submitted them and called to confirm it was received and it was .. I’ll keep everyone posted on the next steps.. seems like this can take awhile

I was reached out the same day as well and you have a low log number compared to mine I’m in the 2,xxx but have CB preference. So far I haven’t been asked to send additional documents I think I gave them a lot since I did this process with my current building I was like let me just send them everything so they don’t ask me questions.

Have you been approved or moved in to this development yet because ain’t no way they made you wait close to year and still nothing the management company I’m in now the whole process took like 4 months I’m honestly moving so my daughter can be next to her middle school for the fall. I kinda hate that the entrance wasn’t made in the front thag towards the back it’s kinda sketchy and it’s easy to get mugged late at night
