Just found this forum thanks for the encouraging posts... new to the NYC Housing Connect lottery and I received a log number of #4XX for Willoughby last week and submitted paperwork yesterday.

I know it's a lot to move but you could consider still going through the process to see if this new building could be a better place for you longer-term. You can withdraw at anytime with no penalty or impact on future lotto chances and you may find that another short-term stress/hassle is worth being set up better long-term. Worth thinking about.

Just an update, we had out application sent off to HDP last night. The holiday weekend and acquiring some additional documents delayed our progress a bit. I will keep you all posted.

@pishy64 How long did it take to get your docs sent to HPD? I submitted my paperwork 3 weeks ago and I’ve been getting very little response. Just that it is on final approval.

@hollanack67. I took 6 weeks for me from the affidavit to completion of the final review. They submitted our docs last Monday and we were approved today.

I submitted documents and going to view apartments this Friday. For those who have seen them and the building, how is it?
