"373 affordable housing units and 7,600 square feet of retail space. Monadnock Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Bell Slip to the west and Commercial and Clay Streets to the south."
35 Commercial Street is slated for completion later this fall.
I have a feeling this building will cater to a lower Ami, doesn’t seem as nice as the others that were built in the neighborhood and doesn’t look like the building has floor to ceiling windows :\

It's too close to blue slip, so I'm guessing 80% & 125% AMI.
They are going to have to put new traffic light or fix that intersection… it’s not the safest esp. with all the new people moving in + traffic. We’ll see!
Are all units in this building to be rented by lottery?
This is an 100% affordable building. Not sure what AMI we’re looking at, though. Could be like 130% but still deemed “affordable”. No shade, though. I understand that middle income people need homes, too, and market rate is insane rn.
My guess is that it will be like all the other “poor door” buildings subsidizing the towers. (Ie: 33 Eagle, 7 Bell, 27 Eagle, etc). I say “poor door” even though these buildings are reallyyyyy nice. They just do not have the fancy amenities (luxurious gym, pools, W/D in unit.. things like that) Not 100% sure what building i would be subsidizing though??
