This thing keeps cutting me off but to those who have offered resources as well as just words of encouragement, I am grateful. Your kindness does not go unnoticed. I hope to pay it forward one day when I am able. It is nice to know there are still good people around.
Your thread title got me to open the thread. I went ahead and donated a small amount because I believe your story. I hope you can get the funds you need. I would post this on every social media place you can find.
People who can't afford rent have no business having babies.
You live in Arizona and you’re commenting on a NYC housing forum?! Also were your parents rich when they had you? Please keep your ignorant comments off of here.
By when do you need to give the amount it’s crazy they ask for security deposits like rent is already expensive
It is crazy how fast they want it. I was originally told 3 days after approval but did some research and found that they are supposed to give at least 5 and can give at most 30-60. So I was able to convince them to give me until at least the 31st of this month. This management company moved really fast, even bypassing the “10 days to submit documents” thing but since I’ve had this building on my wishlist since receiving a relatively low log last year (although I was originally just a 1 person household), I always kept a folder with all the documents ready to go. My pregnancy and complications after is what has me unprepared financially but I have faith I will get it together. They do know I am currently waiting for assistance with HRA so that helps.
