I sent you a Direct Message. Log in to read it. If you miss the disabled set aside you might still get selected because your log# is low, but this would mean a much longer wait.

Yes I called. Thank you. I had to leave a message.
I was just called to view, CB 10, log 1xxx, but when I spoke to the representative, she said my log was 7xx. I also am not in town so can't view next week like they asked. This is really complicated and I might just pass because they won't do virtual or tell me how many people are in front of me for the apartments.

You can’t view next week. That is not a reason to pass. You can view at another time.
Stick with it. You will likely learn a bunch about the process if you follow through. There is no obligation to take a unit you don’t want.
The process is counter intuitive. Don’t expect answers about other people and how many are in front of you. The people you speak with don’t necessarily have that information.
Perhaps this building does not appeal to you that much. Or you like where you are. However, in the future you might be in contention for a lottery unit at a building you love, it’s more than likely that such a hypothetical lottery will be just as complicated. Consider this an opportunity now to get some practice in with the process.
if you dont mind me asking what is your log in number and are you cb
