you're life practically begins at 25, note- new york is a hard place to live in, you have to be determined and whilling to invest into whatever career path you may end up choosing. So, before you move to nyc, make sure you have MONEY, and ATLEAST a plan. NYC is about who you know.

Not too old but make sure you know what you're doing. It's a tough place to live if you don't have a decent career.

Definitely not. But it is a good idea to have job in NYC before moving to the area.

You are never too anything to live in NYC. Remember, it doesn't have to be a lifetime commitment. You can move here..hate it..and move somewhere else, or move here and love it and stay. Choice is yours..but age should not factor into the equation. Life is short, do what you want, make reasonable compromises, and set your expectations realistically.

+1. Even if your intention is to move to NYC to party it up, there are 40 and 50-somethings still in "that stage" of their lives living in NYC.
