.....this is a bummer for the community!!!!! As Richard Pryor's Mudbone character said......"ain't have no name for it, just call it 'hard times'"!!!!!!!!

A BBQ's would be a good replacement. BBQ's has constant business, whereas Uno's was only packed on Weekends.

I am not surprised as I went to Uno's once or twice, and the last time was last year. The last time I had to complain to the manager about the horrid food. We got into a brief argument about it (why would he argue with me anyway?) and then offered a free dessert. What part of bad food did he not understand? Needless to say I never went back, and am glad it closed..because it was really, really bad.

Yea, I live in Morris Park, but I'm always in Parkchester and I love it. Uno's was a great place to chill and eat. It always had people in it. Next thing we know Macy's or NY&CO will close. That will crush. LOL - Ehh, hope something else comes there. Fast food, ftl.

Unos parkchester is too far for me, I usually go to the one on 86 street which takes me ten minutes to get to from Mott Haven. Damn sorry to see Unos establishment at Parkchester close down. I remember rumors a few years ago that macys at Parkchester was closing to no avil it did not close. I wonder if Starbucks is next? For a replacement I hope fridays or chillis or even outback steakhouse will appear in parkchester will be better suited for the community. I agree BBQ would also be another good replacement. Applebees suck!

The Macy's in Parkchester is a farce, and is just a low-end JC Penny's with a Macy's sign, and that's being generous. Anyone that has ever been to a Macy's and then goes to the one in Parkchester woudl agree. It should close or at least correct the name to JC Penny.

The Uno's in Parkchester is not a big loss to the area..the reason why it closed is because nobody was going there/food is lousy...that ain't a loss! Hopefully they will get something better in there..like a TGIF.

You live in Morris Park, which has some of the best Italian restaurants in the whole city, and you went to Uno's for pizza ???

I agree with sobroguy. Not a loss really. It shouldn't be too hard for it to be replaced by something better.

I want Chilli's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that place. Also, I don't really shop at Macy's, just a statement. It's nice knowing, if you don't want to go to Manhattan for something, you have it close by. I guess there is always Cross County! LOL - Yes, Morris Park does have AMAZING Italian. But, I like Uno's salads! I've never had there pizza. Anyways, hopefully something AMAZING comes in! Oh and I'll kill the person who closes starbucks. Well, there is one closer to me on Eastchester. Ehh, whatever. Uno's on 86th was better anyways.

Eh, as long as something else replaces Uno's ASAP, then it'll be straight. I really love Parkchester and can see it booming even more then it has in the next few years. It's the most ethnically diverse place in the Bronx and stores are still being developed there. I really hope something good opens up there because it'll suck to have just another generic store open up in that really convenient area.
