hey guys, i'm a 19 year old community college student with a good paying job, and supportive family. I have plans in moving out some time this summer and one of the places i've been open to is BED STUY BROOKLYN.
so my questions are what is the minimum rent, and the maximum rent, i'm not looking to live somewhere fancy, just a regular one bedroom apartment with a bathroom and decent sized living room in an okay area.
how far is the train ride from bed stuy to the bronx?
I also have a car that i hope i get to keep if i move, it's a 2005 bwm 325i parking is it an issue down there?
also is it safe to go out on weekends? late at night?
Curious as to why you asked about the train ride to The Bronx ,as there are many neighborhoods in The Bronx that are a lot nicer and safer than Bed Stuy.
The train ride would depend on what part of The Bronx you want to get to but it would likely be an hour to an hour and a half.If the trip to The Bronx will be happening fairly frequently I'd consider rethinking and looking in The Bronx, unless there is some real reason why you chose Bed Stuy.

i've always wanted to live in brooklyn and since i only make roughly to 1800 dollars a month i can't afford anything more expensive, i found an apartment for 725 a month in halsey street. i'm trying to find out more about that area but no one seems to know. from what i've heard it's not the safest but i just want to get the experience of living on my my own.
i already live in new york and fortunately in my 19 years of living here i havent ran into anyone with an attitude like yours! you disgust me
LOL
Wow buddy. If you really are from here then you must've grown up sheltered, never having been able to leave the apt/house wherever it is you're from. I mean jaysus man, I hardly even said anything all that bad natured and you're getting all butt hurt about it. I wanted to hook you up with some tips about what you were asking too, but I in fact don't like you're attitude....
Move to Pelham Parkway/ Morris Park in the Bronx. Much better place. (:
