thanks again to all.... and thank you bkvillian for those great tips for safety precautions, how will we know these places you mentioned as housing, are they labeled ?.... I myself probably wouldnt be out much at night, but its my teens Im concerned about, if they/me go, and since you mentioned the "female" kinda steps to follow, Im wondering if theres any kind of violent crimes much... sexual assaults or what have you, things happen here that arent so good like that sometimes, but its like you say you have to keep aware of how to behave, but kids these days dont think they just charge right out there, mine are ok, think they know it all, but they arent hip to these kind of neighborhoods, we just have too much wide open spaces down here, and they are college types, so I know its going to be an eye opener....and I tend to be a worrier anyway,, but I do so appreciate everyones help, will let you all know when and if we get there, my husband is still working out the details, shouldnt be too long now... hope you are having good weather, ours is amazingly warmer than usual....
If you're bringing your kids, all they're going to need are Ray-Bans, slouch beanies, and your AMEX, probably a little bit of cash though since vegan restaurants usually dont take cards. and if one of them is male, you'll need to groom him to look something like a homeless George Lucas.
lmbo... thats only by the northside though in bedford... where her kids are planning on going is closer to southside and that part is still a little shady though its in the process of being gentrified...
