I know I'm probably being very nervous but we have never been to Brooklyn before. The route goes near the worst spot I heard, Brownsville. Her friend lives further down Foster Ave in Brooklyn which seems like a nice area. She has to get off the Belt parkway and take Linden. Is that fairly safe? She's in a brand new car and pregnant so that's why I worry about her safety. I've heard a lot of bad things about the area but if she stays on Linden she should be fine right?

If you just drive in the car nothing is going to happen. Just because you are going to Brooklyn it doesn't mean you are going to get hit by stray AK bullets...
