NEW YORK, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- A New York man searching the city for his missing parrot said the bird " has a huge vocabulary and loves to sing opera songs."

Allen Kirson said Captain, his green and yellow Amazon parrot, apparently flew off his shoulder while he was riding his bike in the Brooklyn borough's Kensington neighborhood Friday, the New York Post reported Monday.

Kensington? Then it will probably meet up with the colonies of parrots that have already established themselves in Brooklyn. I wonder if it will teach the others to sing? (Would huge flocks of opera-singing parrots be considered pests?)
