I got called for the NYPD (Roosevelt: bad credit, transfer to, bus)

I took the questionare in February and still didn't hear a call back from them. They take forever to call you back.

I have a friend that has been waiting over 2 years (he took the August 2010 exam) to get the call that he is in an Academy class. Is this normal?

A year or so I can see but 2 years going on almost 3 is a bit long.

I'm confused because I passed the exam last November 2011 and I'm on the waiting list still. What second test? I know the physical and mental is after. Little help please.

Well my guess would be that the poster was saying this because many cops DON'T follow the same laws they enforce. unfortunately its not a "duh" kinda post.

Physical,Medical,Psychological ( written and oral ). interview and academy.
