All right... to be fair, I googled it too. And strangely enough, I can't find much info about, even on the nyc.gov website... well, what exactly does the fine say on the ticket?
Well, how much is the ticket? I imagine between 25-45$? Just suck it up and pay it bro. No way you're going to prove to a judge that the cop was wrong... just take your loss and move on...
I've gotten two m/v tickets from my music being too loud in my car ,and when I went to court the judge through them out. That was about 10 years ago it may be different now.
Why not avoid future tickets by lowering the volume? perhaps others dont want to listen to your music.
