This idiot.... I heard he was suicidal also. With his love of tigers, didn't the imbecile realize that, had the tiger killed and eaten him, they more than likely would have to put the tiger down?

A couple of years ago, two teenaged boys broke into the Bronx Zoo in the middle of the night. One of them, for reasons that shall remain unknown, decided to climb down into the polar bear cage. The bear mauled him to death.

Next day, his parents sued the city! Fortunately for all the taxpayers who live here, the judge had some common sense and threw the case out. He seemed to think that breaking into the zoo and climbing into the polar bear cage was something that the kid did voluntarily, and because he did it when the zoo was closed, the city didn't have any obligation to the family of the (unusually stupid) kid.

Jumping into the tiger area? Big deal. It's just further proof that some people never learned how to use the brains they got when they were born.

That was more than a couple of years ago --- it was 1987 --- and it was the Prospect Park Zoo. Here's a link:

Not true. The idiot trespassed into the tiger's sanctuary. He was even issued a ticket for doing so. Had the tiger leaped over a wall, that would be a different story.
