Rents were also a lot cheaper pre Bloomberg in MANHATTAN itself. I look forward to Bloomberg's legacy collapsing. Federal courts have banned stop and frisk. The city council thankfully made it easier to sue cops. And now de Blasio will be the next mayor.

I'm not opposed to everything that happened in the past 20 years, but its time for a new direction.

And if the city does have a collapse, so what? Its historically done that many times. The economy comes and goes in cycles.

Me neither but let's face it--most potential de Blasio voters probably do like Obama and the endorsement helps.

I have hope for DeBlasio, at least he CLAIMS to be a progressive but I have been stung many enough times to kknow this may be just a vote-getting ploy.

Obama's endorsement means nothing to me. I have long, long ago dismissed him as an empty suit blathering meaningless platitudes. Bush-Lite to borrow a phrase.

USA stands for United States of Amnesia. It does not matter what politician wins. He will not deliver on 90% of his promises. He will work for the rich/elite people or corporations that are fattening his pockets. In the end, $$$$ talks.

Don't worry we will be distracted with the Baseball World Series, Super Bowl, March madness, NBA Finals, Bang Bros, The Avengers 2, Grand Theft Auto 5, etc. There is a lot of bread and circus to distract the masses. I like big tiddays!
