Thanks guys 6 days a week though? Sheesh lol, y'all work hard for your money. IMHO y'all deserve a raise, at least equal to NYPD rates (one can dream lol) because y'all play just as much of an important role as them, the city would fall apart without the DSNY.

We work 5 days a week. I would gladly work the 6th day every week and probably the 7th day too.

Y'all deserve at least 85K, I'm sure the city could work something like that out with all the money they've received from those 94K applicants for the next exam.
Hello all , I may be back in this game as I was just cleared by an orthopedist. My question is this , does anyone know how willing the civil service commission is on granting extensions of appeals? My deadline was today. I asked for a 30
Day extension via letter. When I spoke with someone at the commission I was told that they would be reviewing my case this coming Monday. Thx for any insight yall can provide.

Well shame on me for being ignorant and wanting to gain knowledge on a job/topic I'm interested in. I'm sorry that there's plenty of people like me who don't know as much as you do about the DSNY.
