I believe there was some justified outrage regarding Garner's death; I think there is an ample amount of blood on the media's hands regarding Ferguson, stirring the ignorant masses into a frothy rage with little regard for the facts.
Not just Ferguson. When criminals have incidents with the police, news reports often present the cops as the villains and the criminal as a nice Black man. Only at the end of the article will you see the crook's bad past. Now these writers, editors, and publications know a significant portion of the public is too ADD to read to the bottom of the page. So yes, they are responsible for stirring masses of people into a rage with little regard for the facts.
Stupid kids protesting and attacking police. Seriously they should go live in the PJs for a month and witness first hand what the police have to deal with everyday.
They would soil their underwear and curl up in the fetal position if a hard core criminal type hanging at the PJs glanced at them.

Great point. Let's include the old 'innocent youth' pictures of the criminal.
Not entirely true. Poor street thugs will indeed rob or otherwise assault a defenseless woman.
They are an immediate threat to this woman.
Of course not entirely true and trust me the defenseless woman will most likely live within the same neighborhood. But what the big boys controlling the money game in this world is doing to her pockets robbing her blind will NEVER be the focus of attention because the face of criminality according to the white owned media mainstream is a young black man.

I find great irony from this case: the guy wanted to avenge for Brown, but instead, after this incident, I guess the police will have to point a gun at anyone that looks like this guy approaching them even without any provocation, exactly what he was trying to protest against.
Perhaps more bank robbing youth might consider gaining an education for themselves and doing the same.
Come to think of it ... some are.
Because if you think it would be any different with someone "black" holding the bank, you are sadly mistaken and deeply misguided.

The killer was mentally unhinged just like his white counterparts that shoot up schools, churches, movie houses, malls, etc so treat this just like all the other killings and focus on mental health and gun control like you would do in those other massacres
