Ladies, I'm considering moving to New York City next year. My son lives here and I visit him once or twice a year. What I see of the city I find satisfactory. But I don't know how I'd like living here year round.
1. What is the quality of mother-son relationships in the city?
2. Are people with traditional sexual morality accepted in the city? (e.g., no premarital sex, stay-at-home mothers, strong husband who leads, anti-pornography, anti-feminism)
3. How are elderly women treated?
4. Do Catholics have a strong influence in the city?
5. Are there any masonic lodges in the city?
6. What is a good area of the city for elderly white women to live?
Thank you, and I look forward to reading your responses.
Does anyone else find this post hilarious? As if a city has a single pervasive attitude toward mother-son relationships? As if we really know the heart of any maternal relationships beyond our own?
