50 is failing in NY. Though you can automatically fail with any amount of points for a dangerous action

Make sure you get out of the truck and do your walk around and beep the horn before you back up.

Thanks for the tip. So I get out and walk completely around the bus, or just to the back to look?

Can anyone say exactly what the instructor wants to hear for outside and inside pre-trip? Should I go by what my teacher is telling me to do, or is there a certain amount of things they want to hear you do?

Your good bro... I got some things on my license from this year ( Suspension, seat belt and cell phone and 7 points) all from this year and I was good.

from what my investigator told me, they can only see whats on your driving record and pending Judgments / tickets. He told me as long as you dont have anything crazy like DUI or DWI within the past year your good.

Pull your driving record from online. its only $7 bucks and put down whatever is on their. Thats what I did.

I go for medical tomorrow.

I also took a Defensive driving Class which takes off 4 points. They might tell you to take one ( If you have points). I did mine online. it was only $25 and no final exam.

They are mostly concerned about DUI and DWI and as long as your license is not suspended and no judgements pending
