If it does come out that this father and his daughter had an inappropriate relationship, that will be that for them in Brownsville IMHO. There are certain things that are just too low and disgusting to be accepted.

I hope the girl can keep her anonymity and I hope she'll be able to get help and move on. That would seem almost impossible if her identity is public.
It seems like the reporters know where she lives. So... guess her identity is not exactly a secret, at least it's not in that neighborhood, anyway.

That young woman has been interviewed by all sorts of news media ever since this story broke. She don't seem prostrate with grief, shame or anything approaching shock.

Again mark my words, there is a backstory here that we outside the "hood" aren't going to get until it comes out in the news media or courts, if ever.

He was very drunk, the staff either didn't believe or couldn't understand him.

Does the NYPD normally check the immigration status of those unconnected to a crime? Or in general? Your reason sounds unlikely

Who knows, that man might not even be her father, they need to do a DNA test for that. The way he left her in that park.
He just might be her pimp, and if he is her father he's still might be pimping her for money with her consent.

Watching the news. Apparently four of the five have been released. The DA won't be able to get an indictment in time to hold them. The fifth had an unrelated warrant. The investigation continues.

This became one giant slop fest. Can't trust a lot of stories coming out of the hood no more.
