It's a sad state of affairs when the death of two humans elicit such negative and ignorant comments.

"Make 'Hate' Great Again."

It's an election year so everything will seem to be connected politically at this time. It sells.

Muslims lives matter, much more so in america. Look at how Muslims are slaughtering each other in the middle east daily. Are those not hate crimes? Do they in the middle east count less as lives?
There are religious and non-religious Americans murdered throughout the year. Let's pay equal respect and sympathy to the victims and their families without stirring up religious bias favoring one group over the other.
After the khans politicised their son's death to feud with. trump, trump has now become an easy target for any mishaps occuring in the muslim communities, and that is where the media is trying to lead the public towards.

Aren't you Chinese? The atheist Chinese government kills Muslims every day.

Suspect in custody: Suspected Queens shooter of Imam and friend nabbed by police - NY Daily News

No terrorism, apparently just a plain old neighborhood beef between two groups.

Not surprised because of the description of the killer given by witnesses plus the NYPD's reluctance to label the shooting a hate crime.

Could still be a hate crime if a beef between Hispanics and Muslims was taken out on a religious leader. Modern day Westside story in a Queens setting.

To me, this murder is an hate crime. I just read the daily news. One of the Muslim said, if a Jewish rabbi was murdered in such way, mayor bill de blasio would have been on the scene in hours. I have to say that man is correct.
