Yes, we'd be stuck with footing the bill til inauguration day in January but not after that. If he does what he's threatening to do, which is be in NY much of the time and have his family in NY all the time, we are going to be stuck with a YUGE bill for 4 years.
There's that word "force" again; it's a word you high-minded "liberals / progressives" seem to love -- most likely because you can't get your way by any other means.

Repeat after me, as necessary:

Darling Hillary lost .....
Darling Hillary lost .....
Darling Hillary lost .....

and as a rural Pennsylvanian in a normally 60%/40% precinct that went 4-to-1 for Trump, I'm glad we did our part.

You call yourself a Libertarian, Trump is clearly not a Libertarian.

Guess he won't be needing any hotel reservations when he shuffles between NY and Florida then.

If it's true that he plans on spending most of his time in New York and Florida, I wonder why he even wants to be president.

Agreed -- but Hillary is far more of an authoritarian -- and as such, a far greater threat. Pennsylvania, Ohio. Michigan and Wisconsin went for Trump because more people voted from a defensive perspective, and the Democrats had no interest whatsoever in curbing their aggressive, further-Left-than-ever stance.

I think he wanted to win the race because he's egotistical. I don't think he ever wanted the job, and in fact I think he was very surprised when he got saddled with it.

Being First Lady is also a demanding job and I don't think this First Lady had any intention of signing on for a demanding 4-year job either.

Hillary is said by many to be a centrist, actually. Bernie was further to the left by a considerable margin and I think he would have had a better chance at beating Trump.

Protecting Trump in NYC will cost millions - CNN Video

Protecting Trump in NYC will cost millions

Three city officials tell CNN that protecting President-elect Donald Trump and his family is costing New York City more than $1 million a day

I can't wait to see Trump defund NY for Sanctuary Cities. Lets see how that works out for you.

I agree. I'm sure Trump loves the status associated with this, however I doubt he'll have much interest in doing all the gruelings things that are expected of presidents.
