East Harlem isn't the Puerto Rican place is used to be but there are still Puerto Ricans there. You also might want to try Bushwick in Brooklyn. I believe Mott Haven and Hunts Point in the Bronx have a good number of Puerto Ricans as well.

As for places to eat, you could try Sofrito. It is more high end than the typical Puerto Rican restaurant but if you are tourist you might as well go there. You could also go to E 116th Street in East Harlem although I don't know if those Caribbean Hispanic restaurants are still owned by Puerto Ricans. I think there is a Puerto Rican bakery there.

As for nightclubs I am not too sure. Maybe someone else can respond but I don't know if Puerto Ricans have nightclubs of their own in NYC where you will find an exclusively or even almost exclusively Puerto Rican clientele. I am pretty sure that many Puerto Ricans in NYC go to the same clubs as the Dominicans and African Americans do.

NYC is not as PR as it used to be. There are only about 2,000,000 Puerto Ricans left in the metro area.

just look for the Salsa Clubs, always find some PR peoples, infamous locations, orchard beach, the BRONX, Hells Kitchen to a point, there was a spot on 9th and the 50's, a PR resturaunt. may make some contacts there. Are you older or younger?
