Why the eye roll? This person's spouse has a health condition that forces them to follow a certain diet. If you have nothing constructive to add, don't bother posting. Ignoramus...
I suggest that you look at websites specifically for food, like Chowhound. I did notice a restaurant called Senza Gluten somewhere. (It means "without gluten" in Italian.)
I have celiac. Out of the places listed so far, I'd only go to Senza Gluten and S'mac. However, I've only been to SG a couple of times. Its good, but its expensive. There are loads of other places to go though. NYC is probably the best city in the world for a celiac to eat. I go to every borough and Jersey and eat, but in Manhattan, for pizza, there's Starita in Midtown West, Wild in the West Village, and Pala in the LES. Friedman's is probably the new gluten free "it" place with nearly an entire gf menu since Rissoteria closed. There are 3 locations, Chelsea Market, near Hudson Yards, and near Penn Station. For burgers, there's Bareburger which has multiple locations. Even Shake Shack has gluten free buns and takes allergy precautions. For Italian, there's Senza Gluten, Bistango, Nizza, and several other places. There are several Areperas which serve naturally gluten free Arepas. You also have S'Mac and Tulu. There is sushi all over the place if you bring your own gluten free soy sauce. Really, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Gluten free beer is widely available too. Also, most restaurants over a certain price point can make things gluten free and will take appropriate steps in the kitchen to insure it.
Feel free to send me a direct message if you want any more info. I'd be happy to help out.
Edit: Just saw you posted this last week. I hope your trip went well!
