But yeah, my advice for other short men is to just not think about your height at all, because there is nothing you can do about it. Just be a likable person, be sweet, try to find yourself in social situations where you can meet women (don't spend all your weekend nights having sausagefest video game sessions with your bros or whatever).
Yes there are some women who are picky when it comes to height (like above), but plenty of women really don't care about height or will at least make an exception for you. Women are picky in general and always, always have the upper hand in dating, so you just have to accept that and find women who are genuinely into you.
With a population of only 8,500,000, I doubt the dating pool is large enough to accomodate a decent number of possible mates. Also, NYC is notorious for having nothing to do.
For a place that has such a large population with endless options, it seems there are a lot of lonely, single people here.
