yeah, I heard from someone who works at the coney island DMV that you have to renew the eye test before your renewal is done. Then it's not required again until the next renewal, which is 8 years later.
Also, congrats to everyone starting tomorrow at 6 am at Floyd Bennett Field (The JULY class). Enjoy your last night as a civilian, and please don't forget about us here on the forum.
Also if you're in the 4600's list numbers I highly recommend trying to get into the August 12th - August 16th, 2019 DSNY CDL training class at Floyd Bennett Field, especially if you DO NOT have your CDL yet. DSNY has great training and I passed the road test and took their training with them back between April 1st - 5th 2019. I passed the road test on April 11th, 2019. Now just waiting for updates on the next class going for September 23rd, 2019.

HR said epackets for Sept class should start going out by end of August. Can anyone fill me in on what exactly is needed to fill out the epackets? Im going to be away for the last 2 weeks of August and would hate to not be able to fill out the epacket because of a document I don't have in my possession. With less than 250 list numbers to go I am anticipating getting that epacket in Aug.

lmao.... I'm enlighted. Seriously though I'm expecting a E-packet as well can anyone share some insight on what's required for the E-packet? Tax returns, DMV abstract, ? Question applies for E-packet and final processing.. and a perhaps some type of time line I'm trying to take a vacation 1st week of September. :/

Do a Google search for "CPD-B booklet NYC". The first result you get should be a pdf file with 21 pages. The E-packet is pretty much an online version of the CPD-B.
