for those waiting for September class.. I suggest you apply for the supervisor exam, the filling period is open now until the end of august and the test date is oct 23
You guys will be on the job so you are entitled to take the exam..

From my experience, out of the garages Ive worked in, M5 and BK12 are junior, M5 is mostly a cleaning district you’ll almost never touch truck here, you have a better chance of making truck with as little as 2-3 ppl beat in BK12.

Great advice by usmcgeorgee, if you make the September class, start studying the first day you step into training, they give you a huge manual that will have a lot of what will be on the exam.

LOL, I want to see them answer questions about fuel delivery procedures, what day of the week to clean the sand spreaders, what color the diesel fuel filler cap should be and which Operations Order discusses organics coming out fresh from FBF

Newbies out of FBF will know Zero about the job and Zero answers on the supervisor test. But I guess they could try

Anyone figured out exactly what they mean by:

Test Date: testing is expected to begin Wednesday October 23rd?

Ridiculous way of setting a date, they might as well said, possibly, not sure yet, hopefully, we’ll let you know what side the coin lands on...

First raise is 6 months after start date, and then every year after that. It takes 5 1/2 years to reach top pay.
