Doubt the diff is significant. Brooklyn probably 899, Bronx probably 901.. But kinda surprising anyway. Times they are a changing. 5 or 10 years ago they wouldn't even have been close.

You shouldn't be all that shocked with the way rents have increased in the Bronx. It makes sense. New people moving in with higher incomes.

Who wants to live in the Bronx?!! Go to Miami or SD: much nicer and cheaper which are actually seeing more jobs.

If I were you: head to Philly or Richmond, VA which are much cheaper and have decent economy. Life gets better here.

Wrong. NYC has like 100x better job market, and better benefits and public services, than those places.

Anyone who is of working age, or has kids in school, would be crazy to move to Miami or SD instead of NYC.
