Right, but that's not the norm... Not even close, not even in Manhattan.

these labels are so stupid. There is absolutely no way I have more in common with a 13 year old than a 24 year old

The statistical cool down is likely due to more large scale projects one year vs the next. Smaller scale developments such as low rise condos and luxury rentals will continue.

you're right. median professional income for couples is now about $400-$500k for folks in their late 30's-50's.

College grad avg salaries in professional jobs around $85k at age of 22.

That's all real estate prices reflects. Salary/wage inflation. Basically if you can't afford it, it means your wages are below the middle of the bell curve.

My point is that these labels are arbitrary, how am I not the same generation as a 24 year old, but am the same generation as a 13 year old?

Also, I've hard people born as recently as 97 or so included in the millenial label.

I highly doubt that.

"I moved back to the Bronx last year based on my internal image of the Bronx"

"What I didn’t expect to negotiate is what it would look like to move back as parts of the borough have started to thrive."

"My current block features a new luxury condo building with a rooftop swimming pool"

great read
