I text my super regularly to turn down the damn heat... We don't get enough at night sometimes and in the morning it's blazing when you step out of the shower. I've resorted to opening all balcony doors and windows, and then proceeding to take a cold shower to avoid being arriving at work a sweaty mess.

OH please!

It is *NOT* that hot outside. Saw people walking around in short shorts and tank/tube tops all over the UES last night. *LOL*

Am not going to crank up the electric meter this early in year.

Mind you walking around yesterday evening/night many did have windows closed and AC was running. Though if it was set to "cool" cannot say. Many just to keep noise down close windows and run their ACs on "fan".

OMG, it *is* hot! I just came back from a meeting in a different building and was practically sweating walking back four blocks, and that's that I'm a skinny girl who's always cold.

yeah seriously, i agree......

I was out last night in grand army plaza, i had long pants on, i wasnt sweating to death, in fact it was quite pleasant, then driving home having the windows open in the car was so nice also,

but funny once i got near the verazzano on the belt pkwy, I absolutley felt the temperature go down by 8-10 degrees, where I then had to close the car window.....my arm out the window really felt the temp drop. like instantanious..
guess thats why my apartment was comfortable, as i live 3 blocks from the bay.

As long as my room is nice and cold when I go to bed, I don't care about anything else! I know I DEF can't have a good nights sleep in a warm room!

Anywhere near a body of water normally is a few degrees cooler. The water acts like a heat sink helping to cool things down.

Central Park area around the reservoir is like that, always a few degrees cooler than say Mid-Town.

On Staten Island generally is cooler than say much of Manhattan; guess it comes from being surrounded by water. This and lots of open space, trees, etc.... And of course all those hills. *LOL*
