I wanted pizza from Whole Foods for lunch today, but I am not making a trip for lunch in this weather. It will be around 100 degrees by then so I will have a snack and get some on the way home.
I won't even walk a block for lunch - Prêt is literally across the street. I've been going there for lunch everyday the last two weeks - no desire to cook at all.

I don't blame you. I ordered some of those Coleman's Organic Meatballs from Boxed last week. I've been having meatball sandwiches the last few nights. LOL Throw them in the skillet with some garlic, toast the bread, melt some cheese, put some condiments on the bread and that's dinner in 10 minutes... That and cereal and milk has become my best friend. I bought organic pasta and other things. It's been sitting in the cabinet unopened.

You'd be surprised. In the summer especially I can go through those organic 365 boxes of cereal like nothing. They're all of 10 - 12 ounces, so a few bowls of cereal and the box is done. I usually don't eat breakfast during the week, so breakfast becomes dinner these days. I try to limit myself to a few boxes a week at most, otherwise I lose control. The trick is once the organic milk runs out, I try not to buy anymore of that until the following week. I had stopped buying as much actually because organic milk has become crazy expensive. Whole Foods has it for $3.49 for a half gallon which can't be beat. On occasion I do Organic Valley or Stony Field, but paying over $6.00 for half a gallon... I can do without it.

Really? Last night I was tempted to finish off a box, then I broke out those meatballs. When I'm starving, I'll have a few bowls before I put on dinner. I really hope this weather breaks though because I bought a lot of food from Whole Foods and none of it has been touched. I hate throwing away food too.

lol! Growing up I loved those "OH's" cereal. Every time I'm in Target I'm tempted to get a box because it's dirt cheap, but then I remember that it's got tons of crap in it, so I have to return it back to the shelf, but here and there I say the hell with it and sneak a box into my cart. Organic Gods be damned.
