All I gotta say is, thank God Victorian Flatbush is landmarked. I can only imagine what some of those houses would look like if it weren't.

Or even more so Forest Hills Gardens, which is probably the most beautiful collection of housing in the country.

Yeah there too, and Addisleigh Park too. Which is not as grand as the other two, but would likely have more ugly houses.

I do have a feeling Flatbush would actually be worse off without that landmark designation, right across the border in Kensington you see a lot of tacky houses with chrome railings. I understand people from other countries might not have the same aesthetic standards, but still.
