Mine was $160ish, though I'm not surprised. I also had my sister and friend visit, so there was probably double draw on the electricity this past month or two. And to Souless, that's great, but even paying rent and utilities, I'd be paying less than trying to buy in today's market by a huge margin and I have the option to live where I want versus forced out of my neighborhood. I wasn't here long enough ago with enough money to have bought, so it is what it is. Most buildings have maint that is way too high anyways. I'd love to do Hudson View Gardens but the maintenance fees are higher than my rent (hah! buyer fallacy). Mitchel Lama apps are in.

Mine was $179. That is unusually high for me, but I have had my central AC on everyday and I haven't been stingy about it. I only live in a one bedroom though and I turn the temp way up when I'm gone for work.

~$48.00... As I said I don't run any AC. By the time I get home, I just open the balcony door and window and it's perfectly fine. If you live in Manhattan though you NEED AC. The air is congested and nasty.

I despise Coned.

If paying for hot water you are also paying for hot showers, dishwasher, washing machines usage of hot water along with the usage of the electricity to run the latter two.

Buy a house in a hot spot and another in a frigid zone. This way you can jump between during bad the nasty seasons.
That's how you'll save on utility bills.
Dang.............................. but now I'm paying double on property taxes!
You can run but you can't hide... L.O.L........

Mine was $107. I consider that a small price to pay for staying cool as much as I wanted. This humidity SUCKS

Mine is $102 and on top of that Con Ed tsk tsk'd me saying that "I am using 33 percent more electricity than my neighbors" and gave me suggestions on how to keep it down. I've been getting these community usage reports since Mar of this year.

Many of us have and it is getting effing annoying.

Am going to reach out to ConEd one more time and tell them to knock it off with those GD shaming notices. I don't give a rat's behind what my neighbors electricity usage is compared to mine.
