Not to turn this into a feminist thing but women are tired of having their bodies policed by men. I can assure you that women who don’t shave (pits, legs, pubes) or don’t wear makeup etc don’t care what others, and men in particular, think about them. More specifically, they aren’t doing it *for* men.
That said, the irony is that men “should be” the ones to shave since they have a lot more underarm hair than women and that hair traps odor and wetness and stinks!
Amen. Why is hair ( that everyone has and denotes sexual maturity, you know the only naturally hairless in the pits and pubic area people are children...) gross?
If you don't like it, then shave, but for the love of GOD let people live their lives!
Been in Brooklyn and Queens recently and noticed that female hipsters, well dressed, tattooed, and out on the town all seemed to go natural around the underarms. Is this now a thing ? Im 47 and PR and I don't see that with PR or DR women.
I noticed it. The armpit hear on hipster/goth/grunge chicks smells like roses. You should also check out their carpets while you are at it.

This comment is ridiculous. Shaving, or not shaving, body hair has nothing to do with masculinity or femininity. BOTH sexually mature men and women naturally have body hair. Shaving it or keeping it is an aesthetic preference which can, and has, changed depending on the time and circumstance. Do you consider male body builders feminine because they shave off all of their body hair?

I think a lot of them are in the closet. I don't mind a little body hair on a man. It makes me feel he's a man, and it is more appealing. When he gets overly hairy.. well it's not my first choice. But, if I happen to fall for you, and you happen to have hair, I will love you just the same. Just don't ask me to shave your back. Eeew.
