Wondering... what do you think of the proposal about trained teachers carrying in school settings?
i don't really have opinions on this stuff because i can argue for as easy as i can argue against .
the simple answer is it would just move the same mass shootings to different public areas where there are just more unarmed people and we would still have the same free reign by the armed bad guy ...

Exactly correct, if someone really wants to kill, they will do so since they always have the element of surprise, initially!

Schools need a continuously monitored CCTV everywhere, and armed security that can get to any classroom in a few seconds. Actually, all public places probably need that nowadays. But if teachers carried guns, the kiddie terrorists would know to always start their attack by killing the teacher.

once everyone knows who is armed , the bad guys can plan accordingly ....
