This isn’t anything new actually. He said this when they announced the closing.....that it probably meant schools would be closed for the rest of the year.
I think he’s an idiot but in fairness there are now 3 or 4 states that have announced the end of the school year and there will probably be a lot more before it’s over.

Even China would not do something that idiotic.

It’s one thing to take precautions but it’s another to shoot yourself in the head while trying to avoid a virus.

Virginia just announced all public schools closed for the rest of the year. I think that makes 5 states in addition to NYC and other cities. Other states are thinking about this.
