Thats the problem, I dont need a DeBlasio, AOC, Cuomo, and BLM protestors in my area. People are fleeing California and NYC in droves because of leftist politics and no im not an old man im a millennial.

I am sorry that is happening and I say that as a New Yorker. I wish states could apply their own immigration/internal migration restrictions, but unfortunately 1865 did away with state sovereignty. When our founders built the USA, states actually had their own citizenship laws.

I would be angry too if all these people were invading my own state. Let's make a deal though: let's stop forcing New York and other wealthy states to pay for broke red states like yours and in exchange for that, you could apply whatever restrictions you want against the POS New Yorkers who vote communist.

Do we have a deal?

A lot of NYC people (Also Jersey) moved to metro Atlanta. The state is set to become a swing state. You can't controll these things...

Surprise. It’s not always about you for everyone else.

In my experience as a Californian, the super blue folks aren’t the first ones to make an exodus.

Maybe is time for you to move to NYC once NJ becomes the NYC. People move wherever they want, and they can bring their politics to where you live, nothing you can do about it. Asking won’t help because that’s how it is.

This phenomenon- "My politics ruined home, time to ruin somewhere else." - is why I want to move to West Virginia.

Since when the hell is NJ a "red" state and since when--and how--is NY in any way paying for NJ?????

Certain states pay more into the fed than they receive. NY is No. 1. NJ is No. 2.
