Yeah, I know. But I think this time around, it's going to happen. NYC needs the money. Badly.

The taxes would be too high to make NYC a worthwhile trip. Many neighboring states will all have legal weed, it becomes another cig tax where even the locals will drive south to pickup their stash.

There a VICE documentary on youtube called:

The Dangerous Rise of Contaminated Weed | High Society

It's about it becoming common in Germany to spray marijuana with synthetic THC
without informing the customers. The reason for this is it makes it stronger and addictive.
I wonder of this is going on in the U.S. or New York now

Yes it’s very prevalent here in New York and the US it’s called k2 here. It was perfectly legal and sold in convenience stores up until a few years ago after some teenagers smoked it and had a stroke/seizure and got brain damage

Yeah. It's supposedly very dangerous. I remember a couple years back there was a story about a group of people in a neighborhood taking it and then walking around like zombies afterwards and needing to be hospitalized. It made the headlines because it was so bizarre. The sheer number of people that were affected & just zonked out, lying down on the street.

It reminds me of that viral video awhile back with that one lone cop at a downtown subway platform trying to hold 4 or 5 drug/alcohol addled guys at bay and they're just tripping all over themselves (one of them even managed to fall down to the tracks all on his own) with the cop barely touching them. lol.
