Man...

https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs...xtension-may-6

An early last call at E's bar and restaurant on the Upper West Side is a buzzkill.

“Of course people don’t want to leave. They all want to stay out. And it's hard to get people who have been drinking out the door," said Mason Walters, a bartender and waiter at E's Bar.

And a lost opportunity to make much-needed money.

It's madness especially at restaurants.10pm isn't even the busy hour and yet they made restaurants close then.If anything this is just going to make more people show up during normal business hours. i could understand not wanting drunk people on bars all over each other, but the data even the state uses show their is almost no increase in covid cases due to restaurants but these poor restaurant owners have to continue to get reemed.

Yeah. I'm thinking extending the curfew (or abolish it altogether) will guarantee that the patrons would come in at more staggered hours & not bunched up altogether in order to beat closing time. I know myself and other night owl friends would prefer to dine out later in the evening. I don't get Cuomo's reasoning in all this.

You'll be doing it in NJ long before Cumho gives up his dictatorial control over NY'ers lives.

I wish he would volunteer for some charity to be the guy who gets pies thrown at his face. I'd like to throw a pie in his face. I'm sure many people would like to throw a pie in his face. That charity would make bank.
Wait maybe he can do this for ALL restaurants and bars he killed this last year....

What a joke. States with obnoxious curfews have been dropping them left and right over the past 2-3 months, and that fool can only "bless us" with an extra hour lol.

Governor Cuomo allows NYC restaurants to stay open until midnight starting April 19.
There shouldn't be a curfew at all.
