With pool halls being no curfew, this is all a joke. Cuomo doesn't even know what he's doing. Hell, they should take this opportunity to allow 24/7 if places so choose like I've seen in other countries.

During his daily briefing today (and finally taking questions from reporters), there was question after question as to why he has this silly, ridiculous curfew in place when casinos are able to close at 4 am to which he gave a non answer. I really don't know why he's insisting on this when everyone knows it makes no sense. He's just being stubborn, now. He's so childish!

It's not about being stubborn. It's about control. Little by little he's loosing more and more control. This is one thing he can hold on to and still control millions of people in NYC.

But that's so childish! It's like an infant throwing a tantrum. It's so... petty. The man needs help because that's clearly not normal behavior.
Starting next week, restaurants and bars can stay open one hour later, but must continue to comply with COVID-19 restrictions such as limiting capacity, and requiring customers to purchase food with drinks.
“We are going to extend the 11 p.m. curfew for food and beverage to midnight. That will go into effect this Monday, April 19,†Governor Andrew Cuomo said at the briefing.
But critics say the rules don’t seem to be based on any sound science.
The Democratic state egislature has the ability to overturn the governor’s curfew, but has shown no interest in doing so. Drat.
they're not based on science at all. he's just making things up as he goes along. the politicians do things whether they make sense or not to try and justify their jobs versus doing nothing.

In a former time, when America was America, he'd have been tarred, feathered, and run out of office. Now his only punishment is going to be a landslide reelection by the dependapatamuses.

Lot's of restaurants are small business owners, the chains can ride it out. The goal of the left is to destroy the middle class and small business owners, small landlords etc. These small business owners are way too independent and capitalistic for todays tyrants on the left.
Modern day Kulaks if you will.
The way Stalin handled the Kulaks is too messy these days, so they are using subtler methods. End goals are the same though.
Yes lol, at least the one I've been going to does.
