That is a bit much

I live on the east shore of SI and haven't been contacted yet or seen any such workers in my area. Were the contracted workers carrying any sort of an ID card? This can be used as a way to rob homes of elderly people. Say you are from the 'Health Department' and then push your way in. It's been done before by fake utility employees, etc.

You don't have to answer your door. You don't have to give them your vaccination information. You don't have to take the vaccine or sign up to take the vaccine.

Acting as if you have no choice in any of this and it's an intrusion of your privacy when you have a choice literally every step of the way is just exhausting at this point.
