Sometime people out of desperation will do things, that has no association with reality. I mean a christmas tree has no religious context so it cannot be a hate crime, Unless he hated fir trees that were dressed up, I know some devoutly religious people who are deeply offended by the idea of a christmas tree as they believe it is anti-christmas and take away from their reason for christmas. Anyway there was a story of a homless woman who set fire to something (I don't remember what, someone was either injured or killed), I do remember it was revealed she did it because she was tired of living in the streets and preferred a guaranteed 3 squares and a bed. Sometimes it is more than what we think and sometimes it can be less than. Just a series of thoughts
Bolded for the people in the audience

Look at the comments on the Gothamist story. They're having a party over there.
Gothamist isn’t is a soy bean beta male paradise. No surprised at all. Reddit is the same.
What’s puzzling is, when did nyc become so anti America? And it’s not even the immigrants or colored folk, it’s the beta he/she/it generation.

So this is what the judge had to release back onto the streets because of our ridiculous no bail laws.
Let's listen in on one of his rantings:
“The moms that want to rape their f—ing daughters — they set it on fire,”
the man, who had also allegedly exposed himself outside the Ghislaine Maxwell trial last week, yelled.
It only confirms,
Crazy people doing crazy things will be released back into the streets by crazy judges adhering to crazy laws.
