It still spreads amongst the vaxxed , right? So spread isn't the sole reason.
is their reasoning to keep Hospitals from getting jammed?
What else is there?
Yes, vaccinated individuals can carry a high viral load and transmit the virus to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. It has emerged that a lot of these mandates are just levers to coerce people into getting the vaccine (as opposed to persuading them through reason and logic). A lot of the mandates don't make sense on their own, but viewed in the larger context of a campaign to increase adoption, they make sense.
Interesting solution: just obey. What happens when they create a mandate that you are uncomfortable with or disagree with. Do you just obey that too?
Obey? Do you pay taxes? Do you show up at work when your boss tells you to? If you answer yes to either question, then you have no problem obeying. But that is not even the issue here.
You're not seeing the head before the tail: if you get a vax, neither your employer or the City of NY will need to mandate anything.
I truly hope the city dies because of these mandates. It will kill tourism, it will kill the hospitality industry, and like a domino effect, the rest of the city will feel the effects. Adams had a choice to be a real leader and say enough is enough. Instead, he looks like de Blasio's *****. Notice how Adams pushed the school vaccine mandate back to April. He knows that once you mess with the children parents will not be happy with that. Not a good start for the incoming administration.
Question for all: the Supreme Court is scheduled to listen to the lawsuit from those States which have filed a lawsuit against the mandates. This is scheduled to be held very soon on January 7th. What happens if those states win? Will it be considered unconstitutional for employers in NYC to enforce the mandates? Can a NYC employee legally reject such mandates?

He’s a democrat. Is anyone really surprised?
Children over 5 required to be vaccinated to go to the city ?
Rip nyc. There are many liberals here but not that many to support the whole city.
