Heads up. This may be a whole lot of nothing but... FYI.

Do you know where your snow boots and shovel are? It's looking like you'll need them soon. The first snow of the season is likely on Monday. It will be a close call to see if New York City gets a little or a lot.

What You Need To Know

Snow will move in around 8:00 a.m. Monday

New York City is forecast to get between 1 to 3 inches of snow

A shift in the forecast track could mean we get double the forecasted snowfall

Wet streets and a coating on car roofs. Not a big deal.

Amazing how they can’t get a weather forecast correct hours before they predict up to 3 inches of snow. I didn’t even see a flurry.

Yeah, this system completely missed NYC. But Virginia got hard hit with what, 15 inches in some areas?

I consider the area fortunate to not have had to deal with this. It looked pretty damaging and treacherous.
