If people are worried about using a Credit Card to pay for transit because of fears of "hacking" or whatever, then they should be equally as worried about using a CC to shop at a store or online (which is to say - don't worry, your chances of that happening are low)
And even *if* something happens, if you're using a credit card, you have no reason to worry because you should always be checking your account for suspicious activity anyway, and with credit cards, you are never held liable for fraudulent purchases as long as you contact your issuer ASAP.
Have you ever had someone stripe your card and have to deal with that? And, most people are more worried about people grabbing their card out of their hand or dropping it.

OMNY uses tap-to-pay so I don't know what you mean. You don't even have to take your CC out to use it. NFC is a wonderfully safe technology.
If someone grabs the card, same procedure: you immediately call your card issuer and let them know. You won't be held liable for any charges. That's the main benefit of using a credit over a debit card.
If that still bothers you, then buy an OMNY card. It's not that difficult lol.
its the most dumbest sh**. I hate it. keep the metro card as a option
I'm with you, kiddo. CHANGE only for the sake of change is stupid, indeed. What are the advantages except for aggravation?
